This Terms and Conditions document governs the use of the Unique Skin & Body Web Store Service. This Agreement can be accessed at any time from the footer of any page of the website.

Salon Policies (Updated Jan 2024)

Booking policy

  • All booking whether online/telephone/in salon are subject to a 50% Deposit and appointments will not be confirmed until this is paid.
  • You can book online on our website or follow this link https://uniqueskinandbody.australiapos.com.au/
  • We send you a complimentary TEXT message 72 hours prior to treatment please send a “Y” to confirm this or call to let us know!
  • We are happy to reschedule, please contact us ASAP so we can make that appointment time available for someone else, if less than 48 hours our cancellation policy will kick in!
  • By booking an appointment with us online/phone or in person you are agreeing/accepting of all our policies

Treatment Arrival Policy

  • Please arrive early for your appointment as a courtesy for the next Client.
  • If you are New to Unique Skin and Body, we will send you a SMS link for you to fill some information forms prior to treatment.
  • If you are running late, please call the clinic on 07 8566057 at least 10 min before and if we do not answer leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
  • Most appointment are run back-to-back, if we are running behind, we will let you know.
  • If you arrive late, we will endeavour to do the treatments we can in the time slot left, if there is not enough time we will cancel/reschedule.
  • If your appointment is unable to be completed partially or in full our cancellation policy will apply.

Cancellation Policy

  • To ensure you do not forget your appointment we send a reminder text 72 hours prior to treatment, please confirm this appointment with a “Y” or call the clinic!
  • Please contact Unique Skin and Body more than 48 hours to reschedule/change/cancel your appointment so we could fill/swap the appointment with someone else.
  • Appointments cancelled within the 48hours prior to treatment will occur a fee of 50% of the services booked.
  • If you choose to reduce the treatment booked but do not give us the 48 hours’ notice you will be charged the full invoice of the treatments booked
  • Any no shows/cancellation/reschedules on the day will be invoiced for the full amount of the treatments booked. The amount will be invoiced via a payment link either on text or email, any outstanding fees needs to be paid prior your next appointment.
  • Failure to pay this will result in all future appointments declined or cancelled.

Sickness policy

  • Please do not come to an appointment if you are sick/unwell as we work very close. It is crucial you contact us to reschedule/cancel, as soon as possible if you suspect you are unwell or becoming unwell.
  • If anyone is COVID positive in your household, please stay home and contact us to change your appointment.
  • We ask that if you need to change your appointment you provide us with adequate notice where possible in cases where this is not possible our cancellation policy applies.
  • We understand that this is not your fault if you get sick, but as a small business we cannot afford the financial burden on the business.

Acceptance of Terms

When you access this site, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the terms described below. If you do not agree to the terms discussed here, you should exit the site and refrain from placing any order.

Contract, Payment and Delivery

Orders will be accepted by Unique Skin & Body, for delivery in New Zealand only. Payment is to be made in NZ currency. Any contract arising from this site is governed by the laws of New Zealand.

Product Availability

Products may be added to or removed from the website from time to time. While we do not accept liability for any loss arising, every effort will be made to keep the information up to date and accurate.

Pricing

All prices in the shopping areas are in New Zealand dollars (NZ$) and include GST (15% sales tax). Prices may increase or decrease from time to time. Prices shown at the time of purchase are the prices you will pay. You must pay by Mastercard or Visa. We will not accept cheques or cash on delivery.

Purchasing

Products displayed on the Unique Skin & Body shopping site can be purchased using secure online Mastercard and Visa transaction facility.

Payment

Unique Skin & Body are associated with DPS, New Zealandʼs largest and most preferred payment gateway provider.

Unique Skin & Body do not collect or store any credit card information. This information is all processed by DPS. When making a purchase you will be directed to a secure webpage hosted by DPS to enter your payment details.

Registering (Login)

You will be asked to register as a member of Unique Skin & Body. Apart from the many member benefits, including receiving regular emails containing special deals, your shopping address details will be filed saving you the effort of entering these details each time you checkout.

As a registered customer we will send you emails and updates from time to time to inform you of new ranges, special offers and discounts. Please note, you are able to unsubscribe from our email updates at any time.

Security

We use the secure Hosted Payment page solution from DPS to process online orders. Customers can see their cards being authorized and debited in real time, all in an SSL (Secure Socket Layer) environment. DPS is committed to protecting the security of your data.

Delivery

We will not deliver to a Post Office box or any address in which we deem suspicious. We ship our goods using NZ Post or Courier Post

Delivery charges will be added to each order and shown as a separate item before you chose to enter your payment details and send the order to be processed.

Within New Zealand we charge a fhandling & delivery fee using NZpost Bags with courier delivery of:

  • NZ$ 7.80 for 1-2 items XS Bag  and/or
  • NZ$ 9.00 for 2-4 items S bag 
  • NZ$11.00 for M bag larger items or more than 5 items
  • NZ$12.50 for Rural Delivery (may take extra time due to rural Delivery)

Should your order incur an additional charge, we will advise you prior to processing your order.

Should you feel that your goods do not arrive in good condition, please feel free to contact us.

We are not responsible for loss or damage to goods that are delivered to an incorrect address.

Title and Risk

Goods are at our risk until delivered to the address given for your purchase.

Returns and Refunds

Please choose carefully as we do not refund if you change your mind.

If you discover any defect in your product, you may return the item you purchase in new condition for a replacement within 30 days of delivery. When replacements are not available we may, at our discretion, provide a complete refund. We’ll notify you via e-mail of the status of the replacement or refund once we’ve received and processed the returned item. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 7 business days of our receiving your return.

Freight will be refunded where the product is faulty or arrived damaged.

Warranties

When choosing our collection the best of care goes into sourcing suitable pieces for you to enjoy for a reasonable amount of time.

Under our guarantee, faulty items that meet our conditions of care and use will be repaired, replaced or a refund will be issued at Unique Skin & Bodyʼs discretion.

Unique Skin & Body will repair or replace any goods, which fail to comply with Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

Where the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 apply, these terms will be read subject to the application of that Act, and in the case of any conflict, the provisions of that Act will apply.

Please note that the guarantee does not cover faults arising from:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Accidental damage or mistreatment

Limitation of Liability

Unique Skin & Body are not liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages or loss of profit arising out of the use, or the inability to use, the products on this site. This includes but is not limited to the loss of data or loss of profit, even if Unique Skin & Body was advised of the possibility of such damages.

By entering this competition, on our page you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions: –

1 This competition will take your information of Name, Telephone Number and Email Address and your are 18+

2. This competition is open to current and new clients no purchase is required to enter competition

3 You agree to us emailing you to confirm who has won the competition, if you win your name will be announced in a email

4. If you enter once you will be automatically entered every month following unless you choose to remove yourself

5. The winner will be announced on the 1st of the month following the drawer. The voucher is valid for 3 months from the announcement.

6. The Spa treatment is decided by Unique Skin and Body and will be announced in the winner email, and we reserve the right to change this from month to month.
